Realme looks set to expand its next-generation smartphone lineup, with the first major leak of the Realme 16 Pro+ revealing RAM, storage, and colour options ahead of its official debut. After skipping the ‘Pro Plus’ variant in the Realme 15 series, the company now appears ready to revive the model with a device carrying the internal model number RMX5131.
The leak, shared by tipster Abhishek Yadav, indicates that the Realme 16 Pro+ is in active development and will be positioned closely to the standard Realme 16 Pro, both in terms of styling and specifications.
Leaked RAM, Storage and Colour Variants
According to the early information, the Realme 16 Pro+ 5G is expected to launch in three colour finishes in India:
- Master Grey
- Master Gold
- Camellia Pink
The handset is tipped to arrive in four configurations:
- 8GB + 128GB
- 8GB + 256GB
- 12GB + 256GB
- 12GB + 512GB
While the company has not yet released official renders, the leak suggests a design similar to the Realme 16 Pro that surfaced recently.
Realme 16 Pro Design Revealed via TENAA
Meanwhile, the standard Realme 16 Pro has appeared on China’s TENAA certification database, now updated with product images. The device features a flat display and a square-shaped rear camera module with rounded edges, housing two cameras along with an LED flash, despite three visible cutouts in the frame.
Based on the TENAA listing, the Realme 16 Pro is expected to come with:
- 6.78-inch OLED display
- 1.5K resolution (1,272 × 2,772 pixels)
- Up to 144Hz refresh rate
For cameras, the phone is rumoured to include a 200MP primary lens and an 8MP secondary rear sensor, while the front may feature a 50MP selfie camera.
Under the hood, the device is listed with a 2.5GHz processor, likely accompanied by Android 16 with Realme UI 7. Storage may range between 128GB and 1TB, with up to 16GB RAM depending on the market.
The Realme 16 Pro is also expected to pack a 7,000mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging and additional features including an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint reader and IR blaster.
With certification leaks picking up and colour plus storage options now emerging, both the Realme 16 Pro and Realme 16 Pro+ appear to be nearing launch. More specifications are expected to surface in the coming weeks.
